It’s Monday, What are you reading?

Book Journey asks, and I answer, The Children Act by Ian McEwan.  McEwan’s latest novel, released September 6, is just a little over 200 pages; nice and short compared to the last book I read, House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski.

    • Uh oh….that’s not good! I usually put off reading detailed reviews of books I want to read, because sometimes it also affects my decision to read it or not.

Well, I do hope I like it. I’ve read 3 McEwan novels, 2 of which I really liked, and 1 was just so-so.

  1. I think his newest book sounds good. I will be interested to know what you think. I loved Atonement, except that it was one of those books that made me want to jump in and fix everyone’s mistakes. Another one of his that I thought was really well done is On Chesil Beach.
