Congratulations to Hilary Mantel for winning the 2012 Man Booker Prize for her novel, Bring Up The Bodies, the sequel to her 2009 Man Booker award-winner, Wolf Hall.
Two reasons why this makes me happy: 1 – I’ve read both (shameless plugging here and here) and loved them, and 2 – for the first time, I’m actually ahead of my goal of reading the year’s Booker winner!
I was also surprised to learn a few months ago that Dan Stevens was one of the Booker judges this year. I’m glad that he chose Bring Up the Bodies to win the prize. Good job, cousin Matthew!
