The weather here is crazy this time of the year. It is now the “rainy season,” which starts around the end of May and lasts till around November or December.

Now it rains like there’s no tomorrow everyday at around 5:00 p.m., or sometimes, late in the evenings.

With the rains come heavy traffic, minor flash floods in random places, and an increase in mosquitoes, which, in turn, increases chances of getting diseases such as dengue fever.

On the plus side, the rain cools down temperatures up to 10 degrees, but once the rain stops, the temperature soars back to the usual 97°- 99° Fahrenheit, with 100% humidity, which is also the norm.

Just to be on the safe side, always bring your trusty umbrella.
